Open Water Certification

Scuba diving opens a whole new world that few people ever get to experience. Earning your Open Water Certification is your passport to explore underwater environments around the world, from vibrant coral reefs in the tropics to freshwater shipwrecks right here at home. It’s more than just a certification—it’s the first step toward building lifelong memories, traveling with purpose, and connecting with nature in a way that few activities offer.

Our 4 Step Process

Step 1

E-Learning

E-Learning delivers the theory portion of your Open Water certification online through interactive modules, videos, and quizzes you can complete at your own pace. It streamlines pool and open-water sessions by covering safety, physics, and equipment knowledge in advance, so you spend more time practicing skills instead of sitting in a classroom.

Step 2

New Diver Seminar

Every Monday at 6:30, our New Diver Seminar gives you hands-on equipment training in a pool setting. We’ll custom-fit you with the right gear and guide you through proper assembly, disassembly, and maintenance so you’re fully confident using and caring for your equipment before and after class.

Step 3

Pool Sessions

In our pool training sessions, you’ll refine fundamental scuba skills under expert guidance in a calm, controlled environment. We’ll walk you through gear setup on deck and lead you through buoyancy control, mask clearing, and regulator recovery in the water. By the end, you’ll feel confident and competent with both your equipment and essential diving techniques.

Step 4

Training Dives

In our Open Water Dives, you’ll put your training to the test in real dive environments under the guidance of certified instructors. You’ll practice navigation, depth control, and safety stops while experiencing the thrill of the underwater world and completing the dives required for your certification!.
